The final part of the Tour will see you on board a traditional jaunting car where you will ramble through the Killarney National Park & Ross Castle with the local jarvey. This spectacular tour will inform you on the history, legends & folklore of the area, and if you are lucky enough you might just bump into the odd 1 or 2 Leprechauns!!! Gap of Dunloe Tour
The journey begins at approx 10.15-10:30 at Ross Castle where you are taken by the traditional open boats through the Three Lakes of Killarney passing by Innisfallen Island, Brickeen Bridge, Colleen Bawn Rock, Torc Mountain, Old Weir Bridge , The Meetings of The Waters just to mention a few. The boat journey takes approximately 2 hours and ends at Lord Brandon's Cottage where you can enjoy a light snack.
Here you change to a pony and trap ride through the Gap of Dunloe where you can view a spectacular glaciated valley. The tour is the perfect way to see the rich and varied vegetation and scenery Killarney has to offer. Your day ends at the renowned Kate Kearney's Cottage. Approx Finish Time: 15:30- 16:00. This tour can be done in reverse- on request and subject to availability.
